What to test
- Install from DMG and launch without Gatekeeper warnings.
- Launch the app normally from `/Applications` and confirm Overview loads.
- Confirm the Storage-style Overview shows honest categories and the iCloud Trash row when iCloud has items.
- Confirm App Leftovers quick clean does not select installed-app data such as OrbStack containers.
- Confirm Large & Old bulk delete stays confirmation-gated and Trash-only.
- Homebrew install flow: `brew tap C-TTK/macsweep`, `brew install macsweep`, `macsweep doctor`.
What's new in v2.1.5
This feature release focuses on clearer storage understanding and safer bulk review. No pricing or license-tier changes.
- Storage-style Overview. A new card summarizes Applications, Developer, Trash & Temp, and Other using only data MacSweep can compute.
- Low-space prompt. MacSweep can notify you when the startup disk is close to full. The prompt is review-only and opens Overview.
- App Leftovers quick clean. Select removed-app leftovers in one action after a live ownership re-check. Deletion still requires confirmation and uses the existing Trash-only path.
- Large & Old bulk delete. Large & Old now has the same checkbox, Select Deletable, confirmation, and Trash-only flow as Large Files.
- iCloud Trash visibility. MacSweep shows when iCloud Drive Trash has items, but does not empty synced iCloud data.
- Scheduled maintenance hardening. Background maintenance is cross-process safe, tier-checked at run time, and bounded so a hung run cannot strand the process.
